It’s the final Sunday in August, and with it, somewhat more or less, the last weekend of summer. I know, I know, Labor Day weekend is traditionally the last weekend of summer, but September never has felt like summer, regardless of weather or the actual season or anything else. So far our weather here in Central New York is decidely un-summerish for such an auspicious occasion–we will be lucky to rise much above 70 today. So why the heck am I going on this way? I have absolutely no idea–I thought I should actually something more than my typical one-sentence wisecrack. See how I am?
