- It’s official–NBC announced Monday that Jay Leno’s last episode of The Tonight Show will be May 29, with Conan O’Brien set to take over as host on June 1. Between Leno’s public change-of-heart about wanting to leave, and the network’s obvious plans to go ahead anyway, this has all the makings of a really good bad soap opera…
- London’s Monday premiere of summer blockbuster The Dark Knight included star Christian Bale–despite charges of assault filed by the actor’s mother and sister. Maybe he mistook them for The Penguin and The Riddler…
- Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards were back in court Monday, with Richards requesting more custody alterations–most of which was rejected by the court, along with a change in the custody schedule. I know Sheen has been and is likely still a bit of a heel, but who else thinks she’s a candidate for Wack Job Of The Year?

- A home owned by rapper 50 Cent, but occupied by his son Marquise and the boy’s mother Shaniqua Thomkins, went up in flames Friday in a fire that has been described as "suspicious"–especially in light of a legal battle between Fiddy and Thompkins, who claims Fiddy wants to evict the pair and has threatened to kill her. Wow–why don’t soap operas have plots like this?
- Pete Wentz says he continued to deny that new wife Ashlee Simpson was pregnant because they both wanted her to safely pass the first trimester and get a clean bill of health from her doctor first before making the news public. Poor Pete–he didn’t realize this really wasn’t their own private business…
- Diddy told a British newspaper that he is anxious to work with Leona Lewis, saying, "Not only is she so, so beautiful, she has a great voice…she has one of the best voices I’ve heard." I’m sure he would love to make her sing…
