- David Hasselhoff’s publicist reports that the actor checked into UCLA Medical Center over the weekend to have something removed above his eye. Apparently he was so drunk, he tried emptying his "40" into his forehead…
- Disney is forming a new production unit called Disneynature that will focus on creating documentaries about the environment. First on tap: Dumbo: Childhood Hero or Greenhouse Gas Villain?

- I read that Paris Hilton wants to marry current boyfriend Benji Madden of Good Charlotte fame as part of a double wedding with BFF Nicole Ritchie and Benji’s brother and bandmate Joel–who happen to have a baby together–because Paris believes she could make millions off the pictures. - Staff members from Dr. Phil posted bail over the weekend for one of 8 teenagers charged in a highly publicized beating in exchange for the girl’s participation in a show about it–only producers say they are unhappy about the bail-out and no longer plan to do the show in question. Who wants to guess if those involved in the bail-out were acting on their own, or this was another of Dr. Phil’s "it seemed like a good idea at the time" moments?
- How I Met Yoru Mother star Neil Patrick Harris has done an about-face of his criticism last week of Britney Spears’ guest spot on the sitcom–here’s an excerpt from his statement: "I have great faith in our casting department…to find the appropriate person for every role on our show…I was remiss in speculating otherwise. My job description is to act, and I should really do just that." What’s the odds that was written by someone who signs Harris’ paycheck?
