- I read that Lance Armstrong, who’s currently seeing Kate Hudson, took her to a New York restaurant with a reputation for a long waiting list and tried to get seated without a reservation–but to no avail. All I can say is that I wouldn’t want to be that maitre d’, taking a casual bike ride thru Central Park anytime soon…

- Sunday’s fire at Universal Studios has been ruled an accident by fire officials, who say it was caused by workers using a blowtorch to repair one of the back-lot sets that were destroyed. I gotta wonder if the phrase "you’ll never work in this town again" came up at all…
- Kelsey Grammer, best known from his sitcom days on Cheers and Frasier, suffered a mild heart attack while vacationing in Hawaii. It’s possible he was depressed over the cancellation of his latest sitcom, or the fact he’s starting yet another loser…
