- Sunday’s Emmys made more history, with a first-ever basic cable series winning Best Drama–AMC’s Mad Men–plus more love showered on NBC’s 30 Rock with its second Best Comedy trophy as well as wins for Alec Baldwin plus star and creator Tina Fey. But once again the night belonged to HBO, winning a total of 26 awards, and proving once again that the best things in life are free–for the first 3 months anyway…
 Good news for ex-Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker–both he and and club owner DJ A.M.are expected to recover from injuries in a Friday plane crash that left them in critical condition, as well as the only two survivors of the accident.
